Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy, a half-Spanish, half-English woman was born on April 16th, 1997 in Miami Florida. She is the child of Dennis Alan Taylor, a ex-bank executive, and Jennifer Marina Joy, a psychologist, is Anya Taylor-Joy. Her father was an Argentine with Scottish as well as English ancestry. Her mother has Spanish and English roots. Taylor Joy is the youngest of four siblings, one from each of her parents' previous marriages. After living in Buenos Aires for six years The family moved to Victoria. Taylor-Joy explained the relocation was traumatic, and refused to go back to school in English because she hoped to go back to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school following the changed schools from Northlands. Then, she was enrolled at Queen's Gate School to study dance and perform in the school's productions. When she was 16 she left college and began pursuing a career acting full-time. Taylor-Joy was destined to be an actress at a young age. The realization of her dreams came when Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management offered her a modeling gig.
